Description

Drizzle Hot Honey starts with raw honey that is never heated and never filtered, then infuses it with organic crushed chilies, a splash of vinegar and chili extract. Four ingredients, and nothing standing in for them.

The heat is measured rather than guessed. At roughly 1,800 Scoville units, the chili shows up a moment behind the sweetness as a slow, warm finish - easy to notice on fried chicken or pizza, still mild enough for the rest of the table.

Ways to use it: over pizza and wings, on fried chicken sandwiches, brushed onto salmon or pork for the last minutes on the grill, stirred into a vinaigrette or a glaze, poured over roasted carrots, sprouts and potatoes, spooned onto goat cheese or a cheese board, and drizzled across cornbread, waffles or a bowl of yogurt.

Each bottle holds 11.6 oz (330 g), about 16 tablespoons, at 60 calories, 0 g fat and 0 mg sodium per tablespoon. This is a two-bottle pack, so there is a spare on the shelf before the first one runs out.

Certified Kosher. Gluten free. Non-GMO. No preservatives.

Storage: keep the cap closed at room temperature, out of direct sunlight. Because the honey is raw and unfiltered, it can thicken or crystallize over time, which is normal. Stand the closed bottle in warm (not boiling) water for several minutes, then shake to bring it back to a pourable consistency. Do not microwave.

Caution: contains chili peppers. Do not feed honey to infants under 12 months of age.

Heat You Can Measure: Rated at roughly 1,800 Scoville units, so you know the spice level before you open the cap. The chili warmth arrives a beat after the sweetness, then fades before it takes over the food underneath.
From Pizza to Wings: One bottle handles fried chicken, roasted carrots and sprouts, grilled salmon, breakfast sandwiches, cornbread, goat cheese and vinaigrettes, so the same sweet-heat flavour carries from brunch to game day.
Four Ingredients, Nothing Else: Raw honey, organic chilies, vinegar and chili extract is the full list. No preservatives and no added flavouring, so the honey carries the sweetness and the chilies carry the heat.
Thick Pour, Less Mess: Unheated and unfiltered honey stays thick, so it clings to a pizza slice or a wing instead of running down to the plate. If it firms up in a cool pantry, stand the closed bottle in warm water for a few minutes.
Two-Bottle Pantry Pack: Certified Kosher, gluten free, non-GMO and made without preservatives, at 60 calories, 0 g fat and 0 mg sodium per tablespoon. Keep one bottle open and one in reserve, or pass the spare to a wing-night friend.
