Description

Drizzle Cinnamon Spiced Raw Honey is raw Canadian honey blended with organic cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and allspice. The result is the warm, aromatic spicing of holiday baking in a form you can spoon, spread or stir.

The spice is generous rather than subtle. Cinnamon comes through first, with clove and nutmeg behind it and allspice rounding the finish, so it holds its own in a strong coffee or a cup of black tea without disappearing.

Ways to use it: stir a spoonful into coffee, chai, lattes or tea in place of syrup or sweetened creamer; spread it on toast, sourdough, scones or a warm bagel; swirl it through oatmeal, porridge or plain yogurt; spoon it over vanilla ice cream; or warm it over baked brie with crushed walnuts for a cheese board.

Because this honey is never heated, pasteurized or filtered, it behaves the way raw honey does. It thickens, firms and develops fine grains over time, and cold rooms speed that up. If your jar arrives firm or sets in the pantry, stand the closed jar in warm (not boiling) water for a few minutes and stir. It returns to a soft, pourable drizzle. A firm jar is not a spoiled jar.

Ingredients: Honey, Organic Cinnamon, Organic Cloves, Organic Nutmeg, Organic Allspice.

Per 1 tablespoon (20 g): 60 calories, 0 g fat, 17 g carbohydrate, 16 g sugars, 0 g protein.

Kosher certified, gluten-free and non-GMO, with no artificial ingredients. Packed in a 350 g glass jar in Calgary, Alberta.

Storage: keep the lid closed and store at room temperature away from direct sun. Refrigeration makes honey set faster and is not needed.

Caution: do not feed honey to infants under one year of age.

Warm Baking Spice Blend: Organic cinnamon leads, with cloves, nutmeg and allspice layered behind it, so you taste a rounded, aromatic sweetness instead of flat cinnamon. The spicing is forward, so one spoonful carries a whole cup or slice.
Sweetens Coffee and Tea: A spoonful melts into hot coffee, chai, lattes or tea and brings its own spice with it, so you can skip flavoured syrups and sweetened creamers. It blends in smoothly rather than leaving dry cinnamon floating on top.
Firming Up Is Normal: Never heated or filtered, so it thickens and grains over time, especially in a cold kitchen. Stand the sealed jar in warm water for a few minutes and it loosens back into a pourable drizzle. Nothing has gone wrong with it.
Four Ingredients, Nothing Else: Raw Canadian honey with organic cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and allspice. No syrups, flavourings or colours on the ingredient list, and it is kosher certified, gluten-free and non-GMO, so it suits most pantries and diets.
Beyond Toast and Yogurt: Spread it on sourdough or scones, stir it through oatmeal, spoon it over vanilla ice cream, or warm it over baked brie for a cheese board. The 350g glass jar also gives you a ready hostess or stocking gift.
