Platinum Naturals Total Liver Care is a five-ingredient antioxidant formula for adults who want to look after their liver as part of a daily routine. Rather than milk thistle on its own, each vegetarian liquid capsule combines milk thistle, NAC, L-glutathione, alpha lipoic acid and citrus bioflavonoids.
As an antioxidant for liver health and a liver protectant, these ingredients help protect liver cells from free radical damage. The Omega Absorb delivery system suspends them in healthy oils, including MCTs from coconut, to help you absorb more of each dose.
Each capsule contains: milk thistle extract (Euromed PhytoProof, Silybum marianum fruit, 80% silymarin) 80 mg; L-glutathione 80 mg; alpha lipoic acid 80 mg; N-acetyl-L-cysteine 50 mg; citrus bioflavonoids (Citrus sinensis fruit) 50 mg. Other ingredients: rosemary extract, ginger and peppermint essential oils, non-GMO soy lecithin, MCTs (from coconut), beeswax, hypromellose, chlorophyll.
Directions (adults): As an antioxidant for liver health, take 2 capsules daily. As a liver protectant, take 2 capsules twice daily for a minimum of 3 weeks to see beneficial effects. Take with food.
Cautions: Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen, or prior to use if you are pregnant or have a health condition named on the label. If you experience sweating, paleness, chills, headache, dizziness and/or confusion, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner (these may be symptoms of serious low blood sugar). If you take prescription medication, consult a health care practitioner prior to use, as citrus bioflavonoids may alter the effectiveness of these medications. Do not use if you are taking nitroglycerin or another medication named on the label. Hypersensitivity, such as allergy, has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use.
