Description

Drizzle Turmeric Gold is the brand's take on the traditional golden milk elixir: raw Canadian honey whipped with organic turmeric, cardamom oil, black pepper oil and rose oil until it is thick, spoonable and deeply golden.

The flavour is warm rather than sharp. Cardamom and rose soften the turmeric, black pepper adds a faint kick at the finish, and the honey keeps it sweet, so you can take it straight off the spoon without chasing it with anything.

HOW PEOPLE USE IT

Stir a spoonful into steamed milk, chai, matcha or green tea. Add it to coffee, or to hot water with lemon first thing in the morning. Blend it into smoothies, spoon it over toast, oatmeal, yogurt or ice cream, or serve it on a cheese board. In the kitchen it whisks into dressings and glazes for chicken, salmon and roasted vegetables, and bakes into granola, loaves and cakes.

WHAT IS IN THE JAR

Honey, organic turmeric, cardamom oil, black pepper oil, rose oil. That is the full list, with nothing artificial added.

RAW MEANS RAW

This honey is unheated and unfiltered, so it behaves the way unpasteurized honey behaves. It is thick from the start, and it can firm up or crystallize over months in the pantry. That is a sign of real raw honey, not a fault. Stand the sealed jar in warm water for a few minutes, stir, and it loosens again.

Made in Canada by Drizzle Honey, a Certified B Corporation in Calgary, Alberta. Non-GMO, gluten-free and COR kosher certified. 350 g glass jar.

Store sealed at room temperature, away from direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate. Honey is not recommended for children under one year of age.

Warm, Spiced Flavour: Organic turmeric, cardamom, black pepper and rose oil are whipped right through the honey, so you get gentle warmth and a soft floral finish rather than the bitterness turmeric has on its own. A little carries a lot.
Made for Hot Drinks: Stir a spoonful into steamed milk for golden milk, or into chai, matcha, coffee or hot water with lemon. Keep stirring as it warms and the spice carries through the whole cup instead of settling at the bottom.
Raw, Unheated, Unfiltered: Never pasteurized, so the honey keeps the colour, aroma and thick whipped texture it had on day one. If it firms up over the months, that is normal for unpasteurized honey: stand the jar in warm water and it softens back.
Sweeten Almost Anything: Spoon it over toast, oatmeal, yogurt, ice cream or a cheese board, whisk it into dressings and glazes, or bake it into granola and cakes. Swap it in wherever you would reach for sugar and the spice comes along too.
Made in Canada: Five ingredients, nothing artificial: honey, organic turmeric, cardamom oil, black pepper oil, rose oil. Packed in a 350g glass jar by a Certified B Corporation in Calgary, with Non-GMO, gluten-free and COR kosher marks.
