Dried wild blueberry, schisandra, goji, acai, black carrot and blueberry extract give the jar its deep magenta colour and a jammy, fruit-forward taste that still reads as honey rather than jam. WHERE IT FITS IN YOUR DAY A spoonful in morning tea or coffee. Over oatmeal, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese or a fruit parfait. On sourdough toast, bagels, waffles and pancakes. Blended into smoothies and power bowls, whisked into a vinaigrette, brushed onto roast carrots or salmon as a glaze, or drizzled over ice cream and cheesecake. It also stands in as the sweetener in no-bake granola bars and banana bread, where the berry note carries through the bake. ABOUT THE TEXTURE This honey is thicker and more opaque than clear liquid honey because real dried fruit is suspended in it, and it firms up further in a cold pantry. To get a true pourable drizzle, sit the sealed jar in a bowl of warm water for a few minutes. Avoid long microwaving - raw honey is left unheated on purpose.
