BIO-FEN Plus for Men is a capsule formula for adult men, made in Canada and licensed by Health Canada as a natural health product (NPN 80025521).

Each capsule contains: Fenugreek seed extract 4:1 (Trigonella foenum-graecum, dry equivalent 1,040 mg) 260 mg Saw palmetto fruit extract 4:1 (Serenoa repens, dry equivalent 500 mg) 125 mg Flax lignan SDG (secoisolariciresinol diglucoside, Linum usitatissimum) 100 mg Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5, calcium d-pantothenate) 10.4 mg Niacin (vitamin B3) 10.3 mg Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine HCl) 2.0 mg Riboflavin (vitamin B2) 1.6 mg Folic acid 95 mcg Biotin 250 mcg

Other ingredients: dicalcium phosphate, magnesium stearate and colloidal silicon dioxide, in a 100% vegetable capsule.

Recommended dose for adult men: take one capsule twice a day with food for the first three months. After that, take one capsule a day with food as a maintenance dose, or as directed by a health care practitioner. At the starting dose a 60-count bottle is about one month; at the maintenance dose it is about two.

Hair grows roughly one centimetre a month, so the three-month starting course is built around how slowly hair actually grows. Set a routine and take the capsules at the same times each day.

Manufactured in Canada to Good Manufacturing Practices. Ingredients are tested for quality, potency and purity before production, and the finished product is tested before it is released.

Cautions: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use and if symptoms persist or worsen. People sensitive to niacin may experience flushing of the skin that is generally mild or transient. Discontinue use if you experience hypersensitivity to flax, such as an allergy, which may occur in rare cases. Do not use if the inner security seal under the cap is broken.

One Bottle, Two Phases: The label directs one capsule twice a day with food for the first three months, then one a day after that. At the starting dose a 60-count bottle covers a month; on the maintenance dose the same bottle covers two.
